About Lisa

I believe that movement and wellbeing are for everyone, regardless of size, shape, age, or impairment. My philosophy is simple: exercise is literally medicine, and there is always something that can be achieved. I am dedicated to helping people learn to move better and live better, creating a space that is accessible, welcoming, and empowering for those living with disabilities and chronic conditions.

As a Senior Conductive Educator and personal trainer, I specialise in teaching functional mobility and motor skills. My goal is to help you develop movement strategies that translate into real-world independence. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis or managing a long-term condition, I strive to remain at the forefront of research and best practice to ensure you receive the most effective, relevant, and compassionate care possible.

I have spent over 20 years working in group and private rehabilitation settings across New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Canada, and England. This international experience has shaped my holistic approach to motor disorders and neurological health.

Beyond one-on-one training, I am deeply involved in community-based exercise. I am the Head Coach and Founding Director of Counterpunch Parkinson’s, an organisation bringing boxing-based exercise to the Parkinson’s community. I am also a qualified cancer exercise specialist, leading the Prost-FIT classes for prostate cancer and FuCAN Unruly for women undergoing cancer treatment.
